
Land Rover North America announced that the 2012 Range Rover Evoque was named Autoweek’s “Best of Best” truck for 2011. This marks the second year Autoweek has named its “Best of Best” — vehicles that best exemplify the pinnacle of automotive perfection – from the perspective of the automotive enthusiast.

Land Rover announced today that the all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque has been named Crossover Car of the Year by Bloomberg News. The 2012 Range Rover Evoque was reviewed by Bloomberg News’ Automotive Critic, Jason Harper, to determine the best drives of 2011.
“It is a great honor for the all-new Range Rover Evoque to be named the Crossover Car of the Year by Bloomberg News,” said Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America. “The Range Rover Evoque targets a new generation of modern-day, brand enthusiasts. It appeals to consumers who are environmentally-conscious, but want to drive a vehicle that is also luxurious.”
Land Rover’s DC100 and DC100 Sport concepts investigate the potential design direction for a replacement for the iconic Defender. They will make their North American debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show on 16th November 2011. Land Rover is taking these concepts to North America to gauge reaction and explore the possibility of bringing the Defender back to the US market.
Today (November 10, 2011) Land Rover’s DC100 concept makes its Middle Eastern Debut at the 2011 Dubai International Motor Show. The DC100 concept explores the possible design and technological direction of the new Defender.
